'Future Tech' Video Series - Pragmatic insights into the future of technology

I believe the role of the 'next generation' CTO is two-fold. First and foremost, the role of the CTO is to ensure that the adoption of technology is focused on business enablement through the creation and execution of Technology Strategy. The second aspect of a CTO's role is to understand the current market climate, work to pragmatically predict where future technology may be relevant for the given market segment, and provide evangelistic insights around how these emerging technologies can help enable a competitive edge.

As part of my current role leading a Technology Strategy organization, I continually strive to balance the 'art of the possible' with a 'path to the feasible'. This is my personal pragmatic approach to futurism and how I strive to push organizations forward to adopt the right technologies at the right time.

As a result of this thinking, I have launched a new video series called 'Future Tech - pragmatic insights into the future of technology', which highlights startup companies and their emerging technologies that may have an impact on our business climate or simply how we live our lives. I hope you enjoy!
